**NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH CORK MINISTRY**  

MISSION TRIP TO THIKA KENYA JUNE9TH 2010-JUNE 19TH 2010

2010 is the year of blessings. We finally have a team going to Thika Kenya to visit with the community that so many of you have helped in various ways.

We will post new pictures from the mission trip as soon as the team get back. For those that couldn't make it this time round and would like to help in other ways, the team will be giving out food to the poor and needy. Any contribution to that portion of the trip will be appreciated.

As Jesus said, the best way to serve Him is to serve eath other: "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-36, 40

WHAT WE DO

At Living the Faith Ministries, we work together with "PEFA Church" of Thika, Kenya to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the Thika community.  Our ministry has grown to include:

• Drilling water wells to bring fresh water to drought stricken areas of Kenya.

• Providing education and nourishment to the poor and the orphaned children of HIV/AIDS attend comparable schools as the wealthy.  

• Training and assisting sigle women and widows to become self-sufficient through small businesses of their own.   

• Finally we pride ourselves in the quarterly food drive, where we provide approximately 3 months of food to the poorest families.

CURRENT PROJECT

Today, Living the Faith Ministry is seeking funding to make the dream of the Wise Academy a reality. As the only Christian school in the area, the Wise Academy will work to ensure that the orphans and the poor have the same education opportunities as all children.
